As an African American, I would love to be overjoyed by the recent election of a black man to become the President of the United States of America. It has been a long time coming. Many blacks that have passed on, would love to have seen the day that this country would vote for a person of color to hold the highest office in the land. I will be praying for our newly elected President, but unfortunately as a Minister of the Gospel I am very much afraid of what President Obama stands for.
I have read Barack Obama’s books and his other writings. I have watched videos of many of his speeches. The implications of Barack Obama’s beliefs should scare any Bible believing Christian. I sincerely believe that we are about to face some very trying times in the near future. As a Christian living by the standards of the Word of God, we will be facing a serious, uphill battle, and if we do not stand up for Christian values, we will be silenced forever.
President elect Obama ran on a campaign of change. On the surface we are led to believe that this change is simply referring to a political and an economic change. I believe that the change that he is looking to implement is much deeper than politics and economics.
I have looked at his record in the Illinois State Senate. Obama voted against giving human rights to infants that have survived abortion attempts. Obama also makes it a point to mention homosexuals not only in his speech accepting the Democratic nomination, but also again when he won the presidential election. It is quite clear that he is looking to change the moral direction of this country in a way that I don’t believe most Christians want to go.
I am making a couple of predictions. You do not have to agree with me, but I encourage you to keep this article and within the first year of the Obama’s presidency I believe you will see the following things take place:
First, President Obama will look to remove any limitations on abortions. Just as he did in the Illinois State Senate, he will look to allow a baby’s life to be terminated even in the latter stages of a pregnancy. He will push to allow second and third trimester abortions as well as allowing for the death of infants who are born alive, after surviving an abortion attempt.
Second, President Obama will look to give same sex couples the same rights as heterosexual couples, under law. He will also be a proponent of giving transgender and transsexual people special rights and protections under the law of the land.
President Obama will look to limit the free speech of Christians who speak out against homosexuality, and any other lifestyles that Christians believe are wrong according to God’s Word, the Holy Bible.
We will begin to see more and more hatred towards people that stand up for Biblical ethics. Barack Obama is the most liberal president that this country has had in recent times, and he will be very persistent in pushing the liberal, far left agenda onto this country. When we stand up for Biblical ethics, the pushback will become fiercer as time goes on.
California is a prime example of the type of attacks that will be perpetrated against Bible believing Christians. Just a couple of weeks ago, a kindergarten teacher took a group of 4 and 5 year olds to witness a same sex marriage, which was legal at the time in California. The teacher even had the students sign a pledge not to speak against homosexuality. I personally would not want my kindergartner being taught to accept something I morally disagree with. After Proposition 8 was passed in California, gay and lesbian activists vowed to punish the Mormon Church and anyone that supported this law. They even called for a boycott of the state of Utah, because that state is the main headquarters of the Mormon Church.
I thank God that the citizens of California voted to protect marriage as a union between a man and a woman. It is important that we stand up for our morals and values. It is clear that we, as Christians, are in for a strong push from the liberal left and unfortunately the new Obama administration will be their biggest proponent.
We as Christian have to stand strong in this fight for our values and morals. The ironic thing is that these laws are supported by, and pushed through by, the same people that tell us that we do not have the right to “legislate morality”. Isn’t that what they are trying to do?

Your article is right on. I believe He is Muslim to the core and is very deceiving when he says his favorite book to read is the Bible. What Bible is he speaking of? The Koran or our Holy Bible. He will make a mockery of the Word of God. We need to pray like never before.

I cannot believe that true followers of Christ exist, certainly not in any of today’s “churches”. Christ would not endorse looking for leadership in “leaders” except God Almighty. Allowing marriage to come under the control of government BEGS for the abuse you decry and you have forsworn any ability to challenge it (because you vote and pay taxes - homage - to government). Those who call themselves “Christians” will NOT, I dare say, take a principled stand and refuse to pay ANY taxes (Luke 23, 1, 2). They will NOT turn in their drivers licenses and plates and drive as a RIGHT. You will NOT get themselves arrested for refusing to obey Baal-government-antichrist. You will actually cite Romans 13, 1-6 and say that Christ was NOT mocking the A-Holes that tried to trap him. You will NOT acknowledge your cowardice for you know that there are no cowards in God’s holy presence and you sure cloak yourself in holiness, don’t you? Sorry, people, the road to heaven is narrow and sparsely populated while the road to hell is easy and crowded (with “good” citizens, to be sure). None, here, will think outside the narrow, safe, box that government schools have built for your minds. Pity. God’s forgiveness is sooo available to those who follow Christ’s example.

My prayer is that we would join together in prayer for the elect president. I don’t believe that people understood the magnitude of the election or what was happening before there eyes. I do have hope in our Lord and our God that He hears our cry. I try to remind myself that God has the heart of the leaders in His hands and can turn their hearts as well.

Fear is the opposite of love, the enemy of God. Invoking fear is a tactic employed by the enemy to chip away at Christian faith. You employ the same tactics used by terrorists (on a much smaller scale of course) . And you preach the the gospel. Did you forget “God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind ” -and- “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love”?
Brother Joe… You are RIGHT ON with your thoughts on President-Elect Obama as well as your belief that the Bible is in fact under attack as are those of us who stand up for it. As the heat gets turned up on the true Church, we will start to see the goats and the sheep start to seperate. Keep preachin’ the truth brother!
I am an Australian, living in Australia, so perhaps I do not have the right to comment on President Obama but I have been following his campaign and thought that here was someone of substance and caring, who looked like he would make a real difference to the United States and the rest of the world for that matter. Then I read his stand on abortion and I was so disappointed to realise what his attitude towards unborn human life actually was. My admiration and respect for him evaporated in that instant!

I have immigrated (by marriage only, sorry not by choice) to the USA and I was shocked that the so called’ Freedom of Speech” seems to apply only to the minority, which are usually un-Christian, Un-Godly people. The thing that blew my mind is that the amount of ‘Christian’s’ are actually higher than the non-Christians’, so a supposed study says, but these people think that being Christian or Godly means to be docile, or quiet about their faith. I’ve read the Bible itself, a few times, well, five now, to myself because I wanted to get the Word myself, not a re-directed version, and not once do I recall God saying ‘don’t fight for me!” or that Jesus was a wouse about His message from God. Now, the message is clear to me that God does exist, we will get what the book of revelation tells us, it’s begun, we could have prevented it. Just the other day, in a class, someone stated that the fact is we’ve lost 1/3 plus of the world’s animals, isn’t that one of the professies predicted? .. the more I learn, the more I agree with the famous Corrie Tem Boom that the goings on, is PROOF that we are in a spiritual war, and that God DOES in fact exist. Pitty those who have little or no faith.

Obama isn’t a liberal Democrat - he’s a far-left fascist dictator - further left thatn Castro and Chavas - per their own comments of this president. We’re seeing his unveiling day by day and who he really is - scary, controlling and dictatorial. He will have his way - he ignores our system of gov’t and imposes his own on top on our gov’t i.e. czars.
I believe that there is going to be uprising and revolt in this country of magnitude proportion -hold on. Possibly the only way to get him out of office is by bringing forward his forged birth certificate - that he’s not a natural-born US citizen, a requirement for the office of the president. Pat Boone is now on the bandwagon to challenge his legitimacy for presidency due to his forged birth certificate.
He is a crook, a liar —- akin to Hitler. Not only does he want to do away with any live aborted baby who comes out crying — poor child- and put them to death, but he wants to use his healthcare reform to limit care for the elderly and terminally ill -those who drain the system. I’m sure it’s in his is mind to create a perfect race of people —- to genetically shop around for DNA to create perfect children in test tubes and discard any “mistakes” - those who are less perfect than himself. Thisis so HITLER. Yes, anyone who opposes him will be done away with -cut off - and maybe put to death. Just give him time- he’ll justify it .
We’re headed for real danger in this country —- but, in the meantime I see riots and revolt of magnitude proportion. I see the biggest racial war - blacks continuing to stand with Obama no matter what he does and whites trying to save this country from an absolute dicatator. Thank God,there are many blacks who are willing to stand for the truth and not just on the side of race - we all need to stand for the truth and the truths this country was founded on. Obama wants to throw away our Constitution and values and all that our Forefathers stood for - as meaningless. He said that the Constitution gets in the way (paraphrased) of his justice and ruling of America. He wants to rebuild America his way and restructure everything. That means, throwing out Christianity, our churches, pastors and everyone who names the name of Christ.
We have hope —- this fire will not put out the light of the Gospel - it will only purge the church and separate the sheep from the goats.
We can rejoice - God is on the throne and He will protect his people.
Obama has no power over God’s own —the Lord will triumph.

Thanks for posting a comment on our website, it is a beautiful thing that we in America can respectfully voice our opinions without fear of retribution. That is one of the things that makes this nation such a wonderful place to live!
I must say that you have not been doing your research though. Along with the initiatives passed to attempt to stimulate the economy the Obama administration has also moved to enact laws that would make moral judgements concerning marriage and abortion. These actions contradict my moral views on those issues.
This is a nation that has a representative government. The reasons candidates campaign and tell us about their positions is so that we can make a judgement concerning their reflections of our views and opinions. My vote is supposed to reflect their representations of my views on government. What a person does in their private bedroom is none of my business, but when laws are being passed that contradict my moral positions then it does very much effect me.

First, thanks Minister Joe Green for posting this thread. Wether a person likes Obama or not is different from wether we like him being President of the most powerful and influential nation in the world today. When I say we, I mean Christians. Jesus said we don’t prove anything to the father by just loveing our family and friends. Want to please the father than love your enemies also. This is my paraphrase of course, so please read it yourself and see it in his words in the book of Matthew 5:38-48.
So to those who think Joe Green and christians are afraid you don’t understand. He is not afraid for himself, but for those who have not yet given their lives to Christ. Anyone who is actually a christian and not just a professing christian could see right through Obama from the beginning. Do I like him? No, I love him because Jesus commanded me to. However, this doesn’t mean I think he’s good for America. God Bless!!!
I noticed that Joe Green has predicted some things that he said would happen in the first year of Obama’s presidency. I expect the year to run out before those predictions come to pass. In effect this would become proof that Joe Green qualifies for the office of false prophet.
Joe Green has a perfect right to have this belief. I have read much about these subjects and done enough fact checks to be of a different opinion of our president on the integrity of our president.

As H.R. 1913, the House version of the Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act bill, the plan was adopted on a 249-175 vote, The proposal, also called the Matthew Shepard Hate Crimes Prevention Act after a Wyoming homosexual who was killed in a horrific robbery and beating in 1998, creates a special class for homosexuals and others with alternative sexual lifestyles and provides them protections against so-called “hate.”
It specifically denies such protections to other targeted classes of citizens such as pastors, Christians, missionaries, veterans and the elderly. this bill would criminalize Christianity and turn those who disagree with the homosexual agenda into felons.
With this legislation a Pastor that preaches that homosexuality is a sin in God’s eyes can be arrested for violating the Hate Crimes law.
As a matter of fact, the next day after he was innaugurated the White house website specifically mentioned the move to protect gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, and transgenders as a protected class of people, placing them in the same cateorgory as race, gender, and age.
During the week of July 14, the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee rejected a bid by GOP Senators to eliminate abortion as a benefit in any government subsidized health reform package. This means that a woman who is on medical public assistance would be able to get her abortion paid for using tax dollars.
Both of these facts keep in line with what I predicted last November. I am not sure what facts you are looking at but I definitely don’t believe that either of these “truths” can clasify me as a “false profit”.
It’s truly amazing how people always have something to say without allowing the God ,who created us, to guide us into commenting on issues that we should be very concerned about. I often told my children that because they have a mouth does’nt mean they can use it especially when not needed. It’s true that we have opinions and feelings about life, but now is not time for us to operate on our emotions. Now is the time for us to do some soul searching and get connected to GOD himself. From the time that God brought Israel out of Egypt until now, He has promised that there will always be retribution for those who did not believe in the truth and who walked after their own lust and conceit. So while it’s ok to have an opinion, one should be careful about going directly against the messenger and the message. For many were dealt with severly, by GOD, when they complained, devised wickeness, blasphemed the Holy Spirit, walked in darkness, and blatantly disobeyed the will of God.
So for those who are still walking around spiritually blinded, maybe now is the time that you find it in your hearts to seek GOD for youselves and ask HIM to take the scales off your eyes so that you can see the truth for what it is. So when you get a true man or woman of GOD, who teaches the truth, you will then be able to understand on a different level then just were you are in your own thinking.

I have said from day one of Mr. Obama running for president, that if he took office that it would spell DISASTER!!!!!
