About Us
THE STORY
The Very Reverend Joshua Goodin, is the Senior Pastor of the St. Paul Chapel Baptist Church, located in the South Philadelphia area of Pennsylvania. He is a prolific preacher, teacher, and speaker sought after for his skills in leadership, ministerial and discipleship training

As a child Overseer Goodin felt a special anointing on his life growing up at the Greater St. Matthew Baptist Church, under the leadership of Bishop Steven Avinger Sr. Overseer Goodin was ordained as a deacon in 2007, licensed to preach in 2008, and then ordained as a Reverend in 2015. During his time at Greater St. Matthew, he served various servant leader roles with the Men, Education, Youth, and Music ministries. He served as the Pastoral Head of the Ministry of Zamar (worship and arts), and the Youth Pastor of Chosen Ministries. Overseer Goodin attended West Chester University and Geneva College, graduating with a Bachelor of Human Services, and is pursuant of his MDiv.
